I will be having a solo exhibition of my “Dreamscape” works in New York City during December. The exhibition will open Dec. 11 and run through Dec. 29th at the Artifact NYC gallery at 84 Orchard Street. Orchard is just below China Town and Little Italy on the Lower East Side. The opening reception for the exhibition will be Dec. 11th from 6 pm to 8 pm.

I’ve added a number of new images on a gallery on this website called Northern California. The images are the result of a trip there and I plan to go back for a second round. Northern California is a spectacular and varied landscape.
I’ve sent out 11 applications for art festivals for next Florida winter season and expect to add two more applications for a total of 13. This is a cutback from last season when I did 20 art festivals. Not only was it fairly grueling to do an art festival virtually every weekend, but, in some cases, the show organizers couldn’t draw in anyone. Today, I joined The Heart of Delray art gallery in Delray Beach. For Florida folk, it is on the corner of NE 14th street and Federal Highway in Delray Beach. The gallery gets lots of mentions in guidebooks and is thriving. I know of two downtown Delray Beach galleries that have gone out of business in the last year. I’ve added a new gallery on the Everglades and some of spectacular birds that live there. I was lucky enough to visit some rookeries this spring when egrets were in mating plumage and see a number of nests with chicks. I will continue to try to get more shots.
I am currently putting together a new gallery for the website and hope to have it up and running in the near future. This one will focus on the Everglades and associated wildlife. This spring, I was lucky enough to get to some rookeries when they were in full swing and as a result have some excellent shots of cattle egrets and great egrets in mating plumage.
